EMU GULLY TAMBORINE
We are thrilled to let you know that a second Emu Gully site is now a reality!
The Emu Gully Tamborine Experience combines adventure, history, and personal growth through activities designed to challenge participants, foster teamwork, and inspire leadership.
Nestled at the foot of stunning Mount Tamborine, just one hour from Brisbane and the Gold Coast, our new site offers the perfect blend of Emu Gully’s signature activities and the thrill of adventure camping.
Student Accommodation: Students will stay in tents, immersing themselves in the full outdoor experience.
Catering: Students will take part in communal meal preparation with all food supplied, building community, learning responsibility and teamwork in the process. Meals will be eaten in the dining room with a large deck surrounded my gum trees.
Staff Accommodation: School staff can relax and recharge in comfortable cabins, ensuring they’re refreshed and ready to support their group.
Ablutions: Separate male and female ablution blocks ensure convenience and privacy for all participants, including disability accessible amenities.
Our facilities are designed to enhance the adventure and challenge while maintaining comfort and functionality, ensuring an enjoyable and enriching experience for everyone.
Activities
The Emu Gully Tamborine Experience features a range of activities designed to challenge participants, foster teamwork, and develops capacity. These activities blend historical context with purpose-driven outcomes, all while embodying the values of Courage, Mateship, Sacrifice, and Perseverance. These activities may include:
Introductory Activities: Develop teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills through activities such as The Charge, No Man’s Land, Commando Cable Crossing and Escape from Colditz. These sessions build foundational group dynamics and prepare participants for deeper challenges.
Core Activities: Participants will be immersed in history with activities inspired by real events like the Western Front, Bridge Over the River Kwai, The Kokoda Track, and Tunnel Rats of Vietnam. Each activity is designed to test resilience, collaboration, and leadership while providing meaningful life lessons.
Every program is tailored to group needs and guided by our expert facilitators, ensuring a memorable and impactful experience.
With a blend of dynamic, hands-on activities and professional facilitation, the Emu Gully Tamborine Experience provides participants with tools and insights that extend far beyond the campsite.
