UBUNTU

In a world where isolation and disconnection are common, Ubuntu shifts the focus back to what truly matters—community.

“I AM BECAUSE WE ARE”

A Village Built Together

The Ubuntu Program is designed to immerse participants in the essence of collaboration and interdependence. Across two or three days, participants work together to build their own “village,” fostering a sense of belonging, contribution, and shared achievement.

Day 1: The Challenge Begins
To start, smaller groups of about 15 participants are tethered to a single rope, symbolising the need for unity. Together, they navigate Emu Gully to locate supplies scattered across the property—tents, water, cooking utensils, and more. It's a test of perseverance, mateship, and self-sacrifice.

Once back at camp, the groups use their resources to create a functional campsite, preparing meals and lighting fires as they settle into their new community.

Day 2: Living the Village Life
With the hard work done, Day 2 is all about enjoying the fruits of their labor. Tailored activities such as buggy rides, paintball, mud pits, and swimming offer opportunities to relax and bond in nature.

The focus shifts from challenge to connection, creating a rewarding balance that brings the group even closer together.

Building a Sense of Community

Ubuntu isn't just about teamwork—it’s about shifting perspectives. Participants experience the strength of collective effort and learn how their contributions shape the community around them.

Through shared challenges and rewards, the Ubuntu Program encourages a deeper understanding of interdependence and celebrates the values of mateship, belonging, and collaboration.
