Tracy is a Ngandowal/Minyungbal woman of the Tweed/Southern Gold Coast area. She and husband Mark enjoy maintaining a close connection to this area, taking advantage of the beaches and surf spots where they live. She has two adult children and recently became a grandparent.
She uses her skills as a cultural consultant to assist organizations navigate community engagement with First Nations peoples. She has had a broad ranging work and self-employment background in employment, education, Indigenous health (social and emotional wellbeing). Tracy is passionate about breaking the stigma of mental health and empowering communities by delivering Indigenous mental health first aid to communities across Australia. She also believes in promoting positive wellbeing and instilling hope in the next generation of young people and loves being associated with Emu Gully Adventure Education Group who’s core values are about shaping the lives of the next generation of young people into ‘Great Australians’.
