Sam is a Partner at Ambrosiussen The Business Accountants in Toowoomba, specialising in taxation and management accounting for small and medium family businesses and not-for-profit organisations. With over 16 years of experience, he has significantly contributed to the firm's success. Sam holds a dual degree in Business and Commerce, an MBA from UniSQ, a CPA Public Practice Certificate, is a registered Tax Agent, and has completed the Company Director's Course through the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Sam has supported Emu Gully Adventure Education Group Ltd for over a decade, assisting with a crucial expansion in 2018 and navigating the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, he became a Company Member. He also served on the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce Board as Treasurer from 2016 to 2019 and as Vice President since then, contributing since 2011 through Future Leaders.
A long-standing contributor to the Liberal National Party (LNP), Sam has chaired the LNP Toowoomba South state electorate council since 2016 and previously chaired the Groom LNP federal electorate council. He also serves on the Board of Inclusion Access Ltd, focusing on improving venue accessibility for people with disabilities.
Personally, Sam was born in Mackay and moved to Toowoomba at a young age. Married to his high school sweetheart Ash for over 10 years, they have three children. The family values the opportunities and sense of community in Toowoomba and are committed to giving back to the region they love.
